In no other birth can the jiva acquire knowledge of the Truth. Human birth is the stepping-stone to the path of liberation. But rare are the meritorious who come by it” (Visvasara Tantra)

Human being have a self will and is not totally subject to the impulses and drive of Nature as are beings lower than human in the scale of evolution. One has a mind that can see and organize. Tantra speaks of ida nadi as the moon, pingala nadi as the sun, and sushumna nadi as the fire. The imagery of sun and moon has been a persistent one in Tantrik literature; the Nath-siddha Tantriks even wear large earrings symbolizing sun and moon.

The central sushumna is flanked on its left with ida and on its right pingala, two subtle psychic nadis both arising from the root-basic center, and running parallel and close to the sushumna, until they cross and the right-left positions and reversed. The two nadis signify opposite poles, male and female components, within each individual.

The sun-moon imagery moon has a cooling effect on the system while sun dries up the system. In the mystical manner of speaking, one determines the individual involvement in the phenomenal vortex whiles the other burns up this bond and releases the individual.

It will be an error to look upon human as a helpless victim of contending forces. As a matter of fact, the two complementary, a male-female configuration, which is essential both for creation and release.

When an individual take up Tantrik life, or practice Yoga, the opening of ida and pingala at the root basic center can be blocked, and by practice the current are forced to move along the central sushumna. With most practices one has to have a discipline practice for a long period of time for this to happen, and with Para-Tan it can be achieved within a few years. Even though Para-Tan offers faster results, it is only ideal for couples or a community of friends like a healing circle. Individualistic practice is not suitable with Para-Tan, as Para-Tan is a Dance of Love between two or more.

Para-Tan sound can help you activate the chakras via the nadis, thus allowing you to seek your true nature.
